Room No. 237 is an online interface that allows a user to dissect Stanley Kubrick's The Shining through multiple linear timelines.
Since The Shining is so complex in terms of plot and film form, the interface allows for many possibilities. Through color, soundtrack and tension, the user can select a 30 second interval on the top three timelines to view information about the film at that point. Then, the user can view particular information for each character in the film, including dialogue, screen time, and name mentions. This information can be compared to other characters as well as the top information.
